So, I made a gif in three days. It took two days just
to draw out, then put into dragon frame, make the gif, then put the frames into photoshop to add the mist.

It's from another project in which we were supposed to make a story out of two images. Mine was about a woman who falls in love with an elephant, because she believes he is her husband re-incarnated.

Final project

Two of my final pieces from the exhibition last year. The entire subject and brief was up to us. I chose grief, and decided to focus on how it affects how a person reflects upon their memories. The project comprised of six different pieces, all from different periods in my mother's life.
I found this project incredibly cathartic.

All done in biro.

Berlin project

This was a drawing of a homeless man I met in Berlin last year. I turned it into stickers, and put them around my town and village. The point was to make him unavoidable, as he felt invisible at times. This is just a scan of the initial drawing. His name was Ulrich.

Illustration week

My final drawing for illustration week last year. I am not pleased with it, as it was rather rushed, especially the writing. The topic was optional and I chose why do people lie? The drawing is on Cyril Smith, disgraced former MP for Rochdale. Done with pencil and fine liner.

Self Portrait in oil

The second year of the course we tried something different every week, this was from fine art week.

Brown oil paint. Done by using the handle of the brush to scratch in the lines, and tissue to work into it. I found this incredibly difficult, as we had to hold a mirror up as we were doing it, and focus on our faces.

2011/12

Life drawings from my second year at college (last year) done with charcoal and chalk, I believe.
The first was a long study, half an hour or forty minutes.

The second was a quick study of positions.

catch up

A study of injustice from my first year at college. Ink, water, biro, onto a3 card.

Same project as above, same model, the print tutor Simon Packard. Ink, water, biro, cartridge paper

A screen print created from a drawing I did, for the same project.
